Lovely skyline last night, with just a hint of the rainbow.

How lovely to see the cattle out and enjoying the sunshine
I stayed last weekend for 1 night, such a lovely farmhouse, relaxing and so friendly. I had an early start on Sun but nothing was too much trouble and enjoyed a great breakfast before leaving.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you, so friendly and kind to us. All the extra homemade extras are wonderful. Loved the dogs.”

Undoubtedly one of the best B & B’s we have stayed in. Thank you for your hospitality and superb breakfast.

Weather wise not such a nice day here at Sink Green Farm Bed & Breakfast, but, oh so peaceful. Walking the dogs this morning all I could here were the birds singing and the ducks flapping on the river. The dogs always enjoy themselves as you can see.
How lovely to have such a beautiful day in February, sun shining, no frost and actually quite warm, (bet it will rain tomorrow!!), even the sheep across the river from us were enjoying the day.
… primarily due to its location to my course, however I am so glad that I did. It has great authentic rooms with a superbly renovated bathroom. Great price and a great welcome. Breakfast included and cooked to order was a perfect start to my day. I would certainly recommend Sue and David’s accommodation and hospitality to anyone staying in the area.

The Stork that has been visiting has a bit of history to it. It was ringed in Poland as a chick in 2011. It was injured in 2014 after flying into telegraph wires and was taken to a rescue centre in Norfolk. In 2016 it escaped and has been seen in a few areas around the country. Allegedly it has been in Herefordshire since June 2016, spending most of its time around our fields and in the fields around Dinedor. It is wild and roosts on the local house tops.
Wishing all our guests, old and new, a very Happy New Year.
Come and relax, unwind and enjoy yourselves in 2017
Been busy putting in a new cattle grid, hard work, but I managed to drive over it first 🙂
Thank you Mark for your 5* review, and also for the lovely flowers you sent to me, they were beautiful.
“Had a fantastic 3 night stay in this wonderful farmhouse. Sue and David were the perfect hosts, going out of their way to make us welcome. You are free to roam the farm, with their beautiful dogs and unique cattle breeds. The rooms are full of character but include first class modern amenities, and there is even a fridge to keep your personal dairy produce chilled. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.”
What a lovely 5* comment to receive from William when he stayed with us for the 1st day of Racing back in Hereford, he was even interviewed by Hereford & Worcester, as he remembered going racing here when he was little, thank you William 🙂
“Stayed for 3 nights in October. I was down from Bolton primarily to attend the reopening meeting at Hereford Racecourse, being a racing fan I also went to the nearby Ludlow Racecourse for their fixture on the Wednesday too.
The farm is spectacular with fantastic views over to and beyond the River Wye and there is ample opportunity to have a walk round, and probably be accompanied by at least one of the dogs on the farm as you do so.
The rooms are nice and show off the age and style of the farmhouse (dating from the 16th Century) perfectly. The breakfasts cooked by Sue and taken in a perfect dining room are wonderful.
The farm is close enough to Hereford to easily get round the area quickly and get to routes to go further afield as well.
David and Sue are very friendly and welcoming and will also offer advice on where to eat in the evenings, even giving a lift down to the local pub.
A really lovely, enjoyable stay made even better by the location, farm, David and Sue and 4 lovely friendly dogs.
I certainly will be returning. The farm was recommended by a friend, they certainly recommended a great place….and it is excellent value too.”
Was lovely to see this 5* review when I opened Facebook from Go Lo, thank you Lo 🙂
“Had a really wonderful stay – just one night, but think I may become a regular. Great setting, Sue and David so friendly and hospitable, lovely room, one of the best breakfasts, I have ever had – fresh fruit, and the most delicious bacon, sausages etc. – scrambled egg cooked to perfection. Oodles of useful local literature. Ticks all the boxes – can’t wait for our next visit (Me (Lo) and my two dogs).”
