First floods of winter

First floods of winter, but what a wonderful view. This is what you can see when you open the curtains in our 4-poster and twin room – breath taking.

What a delightful surprise. Lovely autumnal views across the Wye valley. The hosts, Sue and David were lovely and welcoming. The bedroom was spacious and everything was really clean. Nice welcome tray with biscuits. The en suite was roomy and very clean. Breakfast was very good, probably the best we have had at a bed and breakfast. Will return again when we are in the area. Thank you so much for such a delightful stay.

What wonderful produce we’ve had this harvest 🙂 And the Autumn colours around here are spectacular 🙂
Don’t they look lovely, so peaceful here.
Just love the Sweat Peas, picking them daily from my garden – so pretty.
Stayed at Sink Green in mid-August whilst attending a week long training course nearby. The course was very full on and intense, so it was lovely to come back to Sink Green and relax in the farmhouse or go for a walk along the river to clear my head. Sue was a great hostess, the room clean, comfortable and well equipped with a fabulous shower – just what I needed to wake up for another day’s hard training. Oh and the view from the window across green meadows was very relaxing. The full English breakfasts were superb, the Wi-Fi always working well and fast. When a few of us ordered a meal to be delivered to the farm one evening, Sue was kind enough to lay the table for dinner and take everything away again and wash it all, even though that’s not really in the remit of a B&B host. But she did it anyway, which was kind of her. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here.

Look at my cheeky early morning visitor!!
Breath taking views, peace and tranquility thoughout the woodland.
A 4 mile circular walk: Time: 2-3 hours
This walk is around the northern part of the Wye Valley taking in Backbury Hill, the pretty Pentaloe Brook and the village of Mordiford (the bridge at Mordiford dates back to the 14th century and is one of the oldest bridges in Herefordshire). A beautifully varied route with sections of woodland, pastures, village lanes, meadows and old tracks, you will be rewarded with glorious views throughout. Mordiford is best known for the legend of its dragon which was said to drink from the confluence of the Rivers Lugg and Wye and you will see a dragon symbol on many of the waymarks along the way……..

“This is our 2nd year at Sink Green Farm, Sue and David are amazing hosts, they certainly look after all of their guests. Rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, excellent breakfasts, and the hot tub in the garden is the icing on the cake!!! Thankyou for allowing us to stay in your beautiful farmhouse xx”
“Okay”, says Rigel, “Let’s get mowing”. Rigel then supervises, whilst David mows – such a little helper!!
“Sue and Dave were amazing! Made me feel at home and didn’t make too much fuss, very relaxed environment. Fantastic location and brilliant rooms with on suite.

“My partner stayed with his sister due to visiting a relative in Hereford hospital.
Wonderful farm with fantastic hosts, Sue and Dave, who make you feel very welcome and a part of their family. Communication is excellent every step of the way. There was lovely cake and tea on arrival.
Rooms are lovely, clean and spacious. The dinner recommendation at nearby Moon inn was spot on. The breakfast was superb.
Highly recommended and would love to stay in the future.”
