Our Suggestions for August
Hereford Country Fair
Herefordshire Country Fair offers Three rings of non-stop all-day entertainment and country fair favourites: terrier racing, working gun dogs, inter hunt relay, scurry racing, laser clay shooting, fly fishing and a parade of foxhounds. With over a 100 trade stands, the shopping and craft marquee and the fabulous food hall, the fair offers a great shopping experience.
The Fair is now in its 40th year and promises a great family day out.
Down On The Farm Festival
10th – 12th August
This is Gwatkin Cider’s seventh Down on the Farm Festival. The Festival started as a one day event in 2012 and then expanded to a three day festival in 2013. The owner of Gwatkin Cider, Denis Gwatkin has played in several bands since his teenage years with most of the practice sessions and performances being at the farm.
Our aim is to give local up and coming bands the opportunity to play live on stage alongside more established names on the live music circuit.
