Hampton Court Christmas Fair

1st to 3rd December

The Annual Christmas Fair gives you the chance to see this splendid castle at its most atmospheric and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Once again there will be stalls exhibiting a wide range of gifts, local crafts and produce.

Hereford Arts Market

Saturday 9th December

Hereford’s art and craft market in High Town, Hereford HR1 1AA from 9am to 4pm on Saturday 4th November. There are usually around 30 stalls selling unique, affordable, original arts and crafts from local makers.  Crafts for sale include pottery, sculpture, jewellery and textiles.

Christmas at Croft Castle

2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 17th & 17th December

Step back in time to the 1950’s this Christmas at Croft and evoke the spirit of post-war Britain through the rooms of the castle. Discover how the Croft family worked with the National Trust to save the castle and its parkland for the nation in 1957.

Christmas Jumper Day

Saturday 16th December

This year’s Christmas Jumper Raceday offers a fantastic way to get into the festive spirit with a fun day out at the races!

Hereford’s Christmas Markets – High Town

7th, 8th, 14th, 15, 20th, 21 and 22nd December

Shoppers are in for a magical time at Hereford’s Christmas Markets with around 40 stalls each day situated in the heart of Hereford City Centre, all in sight of our giant Christmas tree.

There will be an abundance of festive treats and gifts on offer, including quality local and regional products, crafts, clothing, accessories, jewellery, unique gifts, decorations and stocking fillers which are sure to make the perfect present! In addition there will be our usual selection of traditional market stall lines from authentic independent traders.

Hay Festival Winter Weekend

23rd to 26th November

Festival magic for all the family. Enjoy Hay Festival Winter Weekend and the start of Advent in Hay on Wye Whether you are visiting for the first time or the 18th time, enjoy stories, music and great company and some warming and joyful festival spirit.

Hay Winter Food Festival is on Saturday 25 November from 10-4pm in the Market Square with over 40 local exhibitors

Hay Does Vintage on Sunday 26 November from 10:30-4pm in the Market Square, Cheese market and Butter Market.

Soldiers’ Charity Raceday

Wednesday 29th November

Hereford Racecourse is partnering with ABF The Soldiers’ Charity for this inaugural raceday.

Hereford Racecourse is helping raise funds for servicemen and women. There are also plans for a military choir to entertain racegoers during the afternoon.

Christmas with the Georgians at Berrington Hall

18th & 25th November

The Georgians loved a good party so visit Berrington Hall to celebrate Christmas music, food, dancing and present giving traditions enjoyed by the gentry of a grand mansion house.

The ground floor of the mansion will be dressed as if it were an evening masquerade ball see some of the stunning costumes they may have worn to dance the night away.

Go downstairs to see the hustle and bustle of servant life whilst the Lord’s and ladies of the house enjoyed a relaxing party upstairs.
